Hello 6K. It looks like the weather is cooperating and it will be a beautiful week-end. The only things I need you to do this week-end are for Language Arts. Could you please ....

1) Finish the rough draft of your Chinatown news article.
2) Google 'Provincial Achievement Tests'(first entry) and read through one of the old Language Arts Part A Achievement Exams. These are the ones with the short story and news article on them. Don't actually write the exam for practice; we'll be doing this Monday during school time. Please just read it over to get an idea of what to expect next Thursday. Also, remember you can use both a dictionary and a thesaurus on Thursday's achievement test. If you have good ones at home, please bring them, as I might not have enough for everyone in the class to have their own copies.
