Hello, 6K students. What I'd like you to concentrate on over the week-end, is preparing for the Social Studies exam. Please complete your cue cards, practise using them, do some practice tests and study your notes. This test will probably be a bit tougher than the L.A. test was, so come prepared! There are also two other tests in class this week. They are as follows:

S.S. ~ Greek unit test on Tuesday, June 19th.
L.A. ~ Poetry test on Wednesday, June 20th.

Please study for your Language Arts Provincial Achievement Test tonight, 6K. Review your cue card definitions, your Reading Notes and your Poetry Notes. You can do the "Hatchet" practice test I sent home or go online to do a test on www.exambank.com or google provincial achievement tests. Whatever you do, please study, get a good night's sleep and have a healthy breakfast. See you tomorrow, guys!

You have no homework in Social or French, but I'd like you to google Provincial Achievement Tests and do one of the Grade 6 L.A. multiple choice tests on-line. It's worth a sucker if you get a note from a parent, but you have to bring me the note on Monday.

Social Studies ~ Complete practice test on a separate sheet of paper. Get your parents to sign it. Bring it and the booklet to school.

The only people who have homework for me are the ones who still haven't handed in assignments.

It's time to start preparing for provincial exams. Please make sure you review for Social Studies especially. You can google provincial achievement tests and try out old exams. Another site is www.exambank.com. For about $13.00 you can write 30 tests. They tell you how you did and what the correct answer is as well.

The only thing you need to do for me this week-end, is to review for your French unit test. Please study:

- The vocabulary words.
- The verb aller (present tense and 'futur proche').
- Stories and questions.


* A few people still owe me newspapers, French drawings and Newspaper notes. Get those in, please!
