Please remember to write down the number for each sentence opener you use. You must use all of the sentence openers at least once. Could you also please bring a free reading book to class on Monday, as we have our library class.

Hello 6K students and parents. The homework for this evening is as follows:

- Get your Mom or Dad to edit your 'Rock' paragraph. They should be looking to see if you've used capitals correctly, spelled things right, included a catchy title, interesting vocabulary, plus a topic or closing sentence. In addition, they need to see if you have a strong clincher or closing sentence. Also, please have your parents check to see that you've used a variety of sentence lengths, but remember, you should have more long ones than short ones. We'll write our final copies in class tomorrow.
- Maps are due in Social class.
- French projects won't be due until next Wednesday. Tomorrow will be your last day to practise.

*** Practise using put-ups at home if you remember. See you in the morning!
